Durham Dales Long Distance Trial (LDT)

95 miles total, 25 of which are off road, 16 sections plus 2 Observed Timed Tests.

Sections based on the Classic style i.e. ride with no inspection and the further you proceed through the section the less marks lost.

ACU Competition Licence or ACU Trials Registration required and bikes to be road legal.

Open to most type of bikes, MOTORCYCLE CLASSES

For the new M-ECVC Championship Series.
A Any solo motorcycle with no rear suspension
B Any solo motorcycle with twinshock rear suspension
C Any solo motorcycle with monoshock rear suspension, dry weight above 95 kgs and wheelbase greater than 1345 mm
D Any sidecar outfit or three wheeler Guest
X (or Guest) Any motorcycle that doesn’t conform with class A-D. i.e. too short or light for class C or wrong tyres.

For the ACTC Championship Series
A Solo motorcycles of British manufacture manufactured before 1st January 1970 (engine and frame).
B1 Solo motorcycles up to and including 225cc.
B2 Solo motorcycles from 226 up to and including 450cc.
C Solo motorcycles over 450cc.
(To comply with Classes A to C, solo motorcycles must have a wheelbase not less than 1350mm)
D Motorcycles with touring sidecars, or trials sidecars complying with ACU Regulation TSR8 - Trials Sidecar Specification. Scooter sidecar outfits, and outfits with driven sidecar wheels, are not eligible.
E Three-Wheeler cars
OC Novices, less trial prepared bikes and less rugged riders
X Any road-legal solo motorcycle or motorcycle sidecar outfit that does not comply with Classes A to D above, and all motorcycles fitted with road legal tyres which do not comply with the dimensions in ACU Regulation TSR8.
