2016 SSDT - What Happens Next?

ssdt logo in story 150w 120hWith entries for the 2016 Scottish Six Days Trial closed, the organisers would like to provide some clarification on what happens next. The Trial continues to enjoy high entry levels with over 430 entries for the 2016 event with only circa 275 places available. That does mean the inevitable ballot will now take place.

In a change this year to allow those successful in the ballot more time to book holidays from work, arrange accommodation etc, the ballot will take place earlier and all entrants will be advised as to the status of their entry between Christmas and New Year. Those successful will be advised on what they need to do next in terms of payment etc. Note there will be no full entry list published until around March 2016 to give entrants time to confirm entries, make payment and to reallocate entries to reserve riders where necessary.

If you entered the 2016 SSDT and have not heard from the Secretary regarding the status of your entry by 1st January next year then please contact the Club, but NOT BEFORE 1st JANUARY 2016!

Edinburgh & District Motor Club would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy new Year when it comes.
