Laia Sanz has decided to rescind the contract that has been in place between her and Gas Gas since January 2012. The brand regret that for reasons beyond their control, Laia Sanz is not going to compete in the Trial World Championship, the Trial des Nations, the enduro world championship and the next Dakar rally on the Gas Gas marque despite having a contract in place until the 2014 season.
In the past two years, Laia Sanz has won with Gas Gas two Dakar Rallies, she has been Women's Trial World Champion and won her first World Enduro Championship. She was also awarded with the gold medal at the X Games in Brazil .
Gas Gas would like to thank the professionalism and dedication of Laia Sanz during their relationship with her and wish her good luck in the new directions of her career in the different specialties in which she is going to compete.
