Last weekend they were travelling companions to the Manx Two Day Trial but today Tom Ablewhite and Paul Marwood were once again rivals on the hard route at Pegasus MC & LCC Autumn Cup Trial at Harston. Tom once again took the main awards dropping just 4 marks over the 6 laps of 8 sections, Paul put in some good rides but a heavy fall on section 5 left him badly bruised ribs and he had to settle for the runners up position.
On the 50/50 route youth rider Kieran McDaid showed the adult riders the way with a good ride dropping a total of 40.
Tim Hawcock, Beta, mastered the dry dusty conditions dropping a total of 32 to beat Nigel Wilson by a single mark to top the middle route results with Youth B competitor was Tom Spencer completing the top 3.
On the white route it was the ever youthful Michael Smalley who was named best Adult Beginner on 25.
