A bit of a damp and dark day for the eighth club championship trial. The wet conditions made for some slippery rocks, but some sections remained dry once the wet top surface was removed. A change of winner on each course today with the exception of the clubman route where once again Stewart Oughton reigned supreme winning by a comfortable margin. Fortunately the rain held off for the duration of the trial, so life was a bit easier for our observers.
