Pegasus MC & LCC kicked off their 2015 trials season at a very frosty Stainby. Conditions got very testing on the areas of the quarry where the sun managed to cut through the frosty surface and when the scores were tallied for the 5 laps of 8 sections it was Steve Bird, Gas Gas, who took the main award dropping a very creditable total of 5 marks lost, with Graeme Watson and Rob Margetts completing the leading positions. Top Intermediate rider was Donna Fox on 31 and best Youth A was Joe Collins on 37.
A busy middle route was dominated by the twinshock Fantic machine of Olly Wareing who dropped only 4 single dabs. Following Olly was a tight group headed by best Over 40 rider Ali Haigh on 13 with John Fox and Darren Phyppers on 14 and 15 respectively. Adam Witting was best Novice on the day aboard his Sherco on a total of 58.
On the white route it was the Pre 65 James machine of John Hamblin who skated around the sections for just one single mark, this was 3 better than the Fantic of best Adult Beginner Gary Skipworth. Best Youth Beginner was Callum Hedison, Gas Gas on 43.
