Competitors from last year’s Manx 2 Day Trial should find entry forms hitting their doormat any day now. Entries for the 2015 ‘Manx’ are officially open!
The success of the Isle of Man Festival of Motorcycling, of which the Trial is a big part has meant that demand for ferries and hotels is at an all-time high. So the advice from the organisers is to get these booked as soon as possible, don’t delay!
For those of you who haven’t been before, the Manx is a traditional no-stop national trial, aimed at Clubman riders who want to enjoy some good sport and take in the spectacular scenary of the Isle of Man. Blessed with all types of terrain, competitors are guaranteed an interesting and varied route, normally covering up to 50 miles each day with around 40 sections.
Entry forms and regs are available to download from the event website www.manx2day.co.uk together with information on how to get a discount on your ferry travel. Alternatively the organisers have linked up with www.visitiom.co.uk, a travel company who can sort out deals on travel and accommodation packages.
