Saturday 7th February saw the start of the 2015 Normandale Traditional trials Championships with the opening round hosted by Nene Valley Motorcycle Club and at 9 am the first of 114 entrants left the start at Cranford Firs in Northamptonshire.
The weather was good, the sections were set just about right for the conditions taking marks off all but one rider and all involved either riding or in running the event had a great day. The riders were complemented on their considerate behaviour towards local horse riders who took the time to contact Clark of the Course Roy Watson and give their thanks.
A big thank you goes to the sponsors of the event; Putoline Motorcycle Oils, Cambs Trials Centre, John Lee & Sons Motorcycles, East Midlands Parcel Services Ltd and Derek Jones Vehicle Refinishing Products Ltd.
Also thanks go to the land owners who kindly gave permission for use of their land. The team of route and section plotters, the observers who manned the sections and the ladies who spent many, many hours working to get the entries' processed and the results compiled - thank you all.
Congratulations go to the class winners, for the results for all classes and photographs of the event please see Nene Valley Motorcycle Club website at http://nvmcc.co.uk/?page_id=2490
Our next event is The Bill Holt Trial at Cranford Firs on 15th March, see you there!
