Luscombe Leeds, the Suzuki and Mitsubishi dealership owned by former sixteen times British Sidecar Trials Champion has agreed a sponsorship deal with Manx Sidecar Crew Nigel Crellin and Chris Molyneux to help them compete in the remaining Championship rounds after 2 wins on home ground in the series openers.
Several Manx crews have tried and failed to clinch the championship in the past, but travelling to the mainland makes it very difficult, "I thought the series would be more exciting with a three way battle" said Robin, and I have enjoyed the Manx trials and company so much over the years it seemed a good way to help the series and Manx sidecars, so to help Nigel and Chris was an easy decision. Twenty five year old Nigel Crellin works for Douglas Corporation as a tractor driver. Passenger Chris Molyneux is a youthful and agile fifty two and is a panel beater and paint sprayer during his working week. Their machine will be a Juan Knight 300cc Gas Gas.
