Attached are the results from the first Ossa Moto Sunday Series trial of 2015. Those at Low Gill will know that we once again suffered horrendous weather that forced us to abandon the trial after the whole entry had completed one lap, though some had done two. It simply isn't fair to the observers to expect them to stand out in such conditions so we had a brief committee meeting at the last section and the five members then decided to call it off.
Of course we apologise and realise that many riders had travelled some distance but there is no denying that hypothermia was a real risk for some folk. We will of course make amends and entries from those who rode this Sunday will be reduced to £10 for the next trial they enter.
It also seems necessary to make clear our intentions with regard to the two courses we have decided to run in Sunday trials in future. The CLUBMAN course is intended to be what was once called the Green course, i.e. it will be a bit harder than a regular clubman course and they will ride through the yellow flag variations. The EASIER CLUBMAN course is intended to be a regular clubman course riding through the blue and red section markers
