A pleasant spring like day was in store for the second round of this year's championship series. With the sections staying dry a lower scoring event was likely and this proved to be true. On the championship route it was club champion Nigel Crowther who just pipped Oliver Sharp for the win on this route.
The easy route saw Jeff Austen, riding his air cooled Scorpa special, just nosing ahead of the second place man.
On the new, for this year, green route we had for the first time ever (I think) a lady winner in the shape of Helen Greaves riding her Gas Gas, but with a more comfortable margin over the next competitor.
