The indefatigable Howard Duddles ( 01642 822707 ) is organising a Trials Rider's Reunion at Middlesbrough Motor Club, Coulby Manor, Coulby Manor, Middlesbrough TS8 0RP on 10th. May 11.00am - 5.00pm.
Survivors of the Golden Era, 1945 - 1965 are cordially invited, and if they can bring their classic" Bog Wheels" they will be displayed on the lawn. Bribes, in the guise of Pie and Peas will be available, as will liquid refreshment. A number of ex works riders have promised to come, and much exaggerated stories will be swapped by all and sundry! The clock keeps ticking, and not many of the Golden Era riders are still involved in the sport, so come along and renew old acquaintances.
Riders of modern machinery and their supporters will enjoy comparing their "take" on the sport with that of the "old brigade". The event promises to be a wonderful celebration of our great sport.
