The second trial of the Peterborough trials club season took place today where 39 riders tackled a cloudy Stibbington quarry. The conditions were dry and dusty which made a few of the tighter sections tricky but we hope everyone enjoyed their day.
The winner of the trial was Intermediate rider Guy Bradley who dropped 77 marks however he was beaten overall by youth A class riders Joe Collins who dropped 24 marks and Kieran McDaid who dropped 46 marks. The best youth B rider on the hard route was Adam Juffs riding a Beta.
The 50/50 route was won by John Holland on his Beta dropping 34 marks from Aaron Wakefield dropping 52 marks and Gareth Price who dropped 60 marks.
On the middle route twin shock class rider Martyn Rushbrook dropped 31 marks on his Suzuki to beat over 40 class riders Steve Marwood who dropped 39 marks and Tim Gent who dropped 43 marks. The best Clubman class rider of the day was Gary Shield who dropped 76 marks on his beta.
On the White route there was a three way tie for the win between Doug Theobald, Michael Smalley and Robin Davis which was decided by furthest clean that gave the win to Doug with Michael and Robin second and third respectively. The youth rider class was won by Alfie Ray Turner who dropped 59 marks from Ryan Brown Jr.
We had 2 conducted riders with us today where Anthony Piper Martin and Jake Fraser both dropped 5 marks with Jake losing his first and giving the win to Anthony.
Big thanks to everyone who turned out today especially the observers we hope to see you all on the 7th June for our next trial at Stibbington.
