Peterborough BMF Trophy Trial

The third trial of the Peterborough trials club season took place today where 42 riders tackled a sunny Stibbington quarry. The conditions were dry and dusty which made a few of the tighter sections tricky but we hope everyone enjoyed there day.    

 

The winner of the trial was Intermediate rider Pete Tombling who dropped 87 marks however he was beaten overall by youth A class riders Joe Collins who dropped 29 marks.

 

The 50/50 route was won by Aaron Wakefield Who dropped 33 marks  on his gas gas with John Holland finshing second dropping 35 marks. The best youth rider on the day was Tom Bishop who dropped 71 marks and was third overall.  

 

On the middle route over 40 class rider Paul Davies riding an Ossa came out top dropping 12 marks ahead of twinshock rider Martyn Rushbrook who dropped 21 marks ahead of his dad Pete who dropped 25 marks. The best Clubman rider was Edward jones who dropped 29 marks and the best novice rider was Mark Cross who dropped 73 marks.   

 

On the White route Jim Lawrence narrowly beat Michael Smalley who in turn narrowly beat Alan Jones with the three riders dropping 5, 6 and 7 marks. The best youth rider on the white today was Alfie Ray Turner who dropped 13 marks on his Beta.  

 

We had 4 conducted riders with us today where Theo Mason, Lily Mayes, Jake Fraser and Anthony Piper Martin rode 6 sections at the back of the quarry with their dads  guidance. Jake Fraser lost the least marks on 9 but we hope all the riders enjoyed their day.
