A slightly damp day greeted the organisers and competitors for the annual running of the Stan Pitts Trophy Trial at Halton Gill. Although the sun did make a brief appearance as the trial was coming to a close.
Sam Yeadon repeated his performace of last year and once again took the premier award by a reasonable margin over second placed man Danny Gamble.
Doing likewise on the clubman A route was Andrew Jackson who retains the winners award on this route.
On the clubman B route Rob Hardisty moved up five places from his previous years finishing position and this year took top spot. Going round quickly and finishing the event before some riders had done a lap seems to have paid off on this occasion!
