Classic riders are reminded that the entry closing date for the Nostalgia Trial hosted by Cumbria Classic MCC on August 22 is fast approaching, so now is the time to get those entries posted off to Mike Rapley, the trial secretary.
That date is a Saturday and the trial runs at the same venue as in previous years at Holme Farm, Middleton near Sedbergh over a two lap 20 section course.
However, the planned Angela Redford trial due to be held the following day by Lancs County MCC for the same classes as the Nostalgia, has been cancelled due to a lack of interest by riders. Currently there are 73 entries for the Nostalgia and 5 for the Angela Redford, so it's apparent classic riders are not interested in riding two trials, just 14 miles apart over the same weekend.
Nostalgia entry forms can be downloaded from this site on the calendars page for August 22.
