Peterborough Trackstar Trophy Trial

The fifth round of the Peterborough Trials Club season took place on Sunday 9th August  where 41 riders tackled a sunny Stibbington quarry. The conditions were dry and dusty which made a few of the tighter sections tricky but we hope everyone enjoyed there day.    

 

The winner of the trial was Intermediate rider Matt Dixon who dropped just 8 marks on his Beta with Expert rider Paul Wareing finishing in second on 16 marks. The best of the youth riders on the hard route was A class  Keiran McDaid who dropped 30 marks with Tom Spencer winning the B class on 51 marks dropped.     

 

The 50/50 route was won by Mick Thurman who dropped 9 marks from Aaron Wakefield who dropped 19 marks. The best youth rider on the 50/50 route was Tom Bishop who dropped 41 marks.   

 

On the middle route Twinshock rider Martyn Rushbrook on a Suzuki came out top dropping just 2 marks from Over 40 winner Ross Mason who dropped 8 marks with Scorpa mounted Paul Davies just behind him on 11 marks. The other class wins on the route came from Edward Jones who was best Clubman, Tom Burton was the best novice and Alfred alderman was best youth C class rider.    

 

On the White route Michael Smalley came out top dropping just 4 marks from Tony Bilton who dropped 7 marks. The best Youth rider on the white route was Alfie Ray Turner who dropped 46 marks on his Beta.

 

We had 2 Conducted riders on Osets today riding a challenging course. Jake Fraser kept his feet up to stay clean with Anthony Piper dropping 31 marks. We hope both riders learned a lot and  enjoyed their day.
