Clean rides were the order of the day when Red Rose Classic MCC hosted round seven of their club championship at Noyna, near Colne.
Steve Thomas (Bantam) and Andrew Scott (Cub) kept their feet on the pegs to score zero marks in class A, with Thomas getting the win on the oldest rider rule.
Stewart Ormesher had to be content with third despite dropping just one mark on his BSA.
It was a similar scenario in the twinshock class, with John Hird (Yamaha) pipping Dave Ingram (Honda) after both cleaned the route.
Andrew King dropped one mark in the last section to finish third on his Fantic.
In other classes, David Wear (Royal Enfield) and Garry Shaw (AJS) had a clear run to classes Ae and B respectively as the sole entrants.
Mick Dickinson and John Wilson, both on Bantams, tied on three marks in class Ce, with Dickinson getting the nod, again on the oldest rider rule.
Paul Whittaker won the Te class on his Fantic, five marks clear of runner-up Phil Holey's Honda.
Red Rose, who cater for pre-65 and aircooled, drum-braked twinshocks in Lancashire, would like thank the clerks of the course Alan and Matt Taylor and the observers. Their next trial is at Float Bridge, Nelson on September 20. Nearest postcode is BB10 3RE.
