The weekends 'Supertrial' organised by the North Berks Motor Cycle Club was yet again a great event. The venue is very well suited to the stop allowed rules which the top UK riders perfer. However there was only 11 riders which are counties best. The constant debate on Trial rules will go on forever and I like both depending on the venue and the quality of riders. THIS venue suited stop allowed and only a handful of riders.
Well done to Stuart Robinson and his Team.
James Dabill won the event from a very onform JSTGGUK rider Alexz Wigg who was second. Alexz has been struggling of late and was not happy with his BTC results last weekend. Alexz bounced back on Sunday and won the two heats/laps easily from Dibs. Alexz was also leading the final through the first 4 sections but when the pressure was really on Dibs kept his cool and sneaked the win from the Wiggster.
R+TGG rider Jack Price was 4th in the heats and 6th in the final.
JSTGGUK Team rider Sam Haslam didnt have the best of days finishing 5th in the heats and 7th in the final.
JSTGGUK Team rider Jack Peace revved his PRO125 to 11th place and was just beaten by his BTC rival Toby Martyn. Both these young 125 riders are definately stars of the future.
Supertrial,Super weather!
