With 3 weeks to go now until the start of this year's White Rose Trial preparations are well underway for the big day.
Most of the favourite grouped section names are to be included, Widdale, Gritstones, Rene's Gorge and Easy Street to name a few. Although the name is the same the sections are probably not!
This year there is to be a new loop: The Oughtershaw circuit: Four brand new sections are planned here with such delightful names as Steptoe, Don's Dig, Bowdin's Back Yard and Den's Delight.
One name that many will be familiar with is Knocknee, this section at least will be unchanged as it consists of a deep gorge formed by the passage of water (now underground) over millions of years. The only way is up on this one.
