The Cheltenham HomeGuard John Draper Trial held on 11th October was the last round of the Western Centre Championship for 2015. Simon Welch has already done enough to win the championship and decided to rest his shoulder. But this gave former champion, Steve Workman, the chance to show that he hasn't forgotten how to ride. He had a series of very tidy rides on the Beta four stroke to take the win ahead of Nathan Pekala and James Welch.
The ever improving James Saunders won the clubman/expert route. Steve Cook won the clubman section fairly easily showing a lot of style. Club member Nigel Tustin was best sportsman plus and Dave Beckett was best sportsman with the only clean round of the day.
