On Sunday Banovallum MCC held The G L Clarke Trial at North Ormsby. A good turnout of 61 riders were challenged by some excellently set out sections. Still running the new format for the sections it was Tom Laycock who took the win on the Hard Route losing 54 marks with Chris Traves in second on 68.
On the Middle route Pete Boast got the better of Steve Marwood and beat him by 3 dabs 11 to 14.
The new popular 50/50 route saw 23 riders looking to claim the top spot but it was Martin Cocks who had a great ride only losing 5 to Steve Gossop on 6.
The Easy route was won by Johnny Nicholson on 8 and in second was Jon Lynch on 13.
Thanks must go to the course plotters and the officials for running a great trial and to the observers for there help once again.
Our next trial is The George Frith Trial which is to be held at North Willingham LN83RW on Sunday 3rd April 10.30am start.
