British Ladies Series Set To Get Underway

This well-known venue is the hub of motorcycle trials in the area and two weeks ago it was part of the S3 Championships course. The venue is very popular with the riders and 42 entries have arrived for the opening round. The course is designed to challenge the riders as they tackle three laps consisting of twelve sections of rocks and cambers and a few short sharp hills, most of which are man-made.

In the B class two names pop out, Hanna Moore and Alice Minta. With twelve entries in the Ladies Intermediate class, this is the biggest class and it will be hard to pick a winner here. The Girls A class sees Alicia Robinson riding in this group for the first time after moving up from the B class which she won last year.

It’s nice to see entries from Jersey Kira Beardshall, and two from the Isle of Man, Kaytlyn Adshead, and Ella Doherty,

And so to the top spot, The Ladies Championship, a total of seven riders will be hoping for the podium, but with the World Champion Emma Bristow and World number 2 Becky Cook competing along with Donna Fox in the mix. It will be hard to knock them off the podium as the trio are the current Trial de Nations Champions

Emma will be flying back from Czech on Saturday night from a Ladies World Enduro round to start the defence of her title at Seymours.

Seymours is in the village of Aston Tirrold, Oxfordshire off the A417 and following the postcode OX11 9AW. The opening round will start at 10am with plenty of parking available along with a food van onsite. Camping will be available from midday on Saturday.
