Cumberland County MCC National Alan Trophy Trial, a round of the ACU Normandale Masters Trials Championship.
Sunday June 5th sees the running of the 86th Alan Trophy.
This year the trial is a round of the popular ACU Normandale Masters Championship with classes for over 40's, over 50's and over 60's.
As per Championship rules, over 40's ride the harder route, over 50's ride a 50/50 route and over 60's ride the easier route. Starting at Newbiggin near Croglin Cumbria with two laps of approximately 9 miles all off road, with sections in streams, woodland and open fell rock outcrops with fantastic views over the Eden Valley.
This year's event sees the introduction of support classes which are open to adult riders on all three courses. Sections will be laid out at a similar to a Centre Trial so will give more riders the chance to enjoy this fantastic traditional event.
