Just to remind anyone who hasn't decided what to do this weekend that Hull Auto Club are running their first 2-lap Charity Trial this Sunday starting at 10:30 in the ace trials country of Farndale.
The land is drier than expected and it promises to be a good event on three linked farms to give 2 long laps of about 20 sections all off road with 4 routes, Expert, Intermediate, Clubman A and easy Clubman B. Twin-shocks will ride the Clubman B route and of course George McGee's legendary conducted course for D&E.
See calendar for full details.
Please allow ample time to get to the venue and entered well before the 10:30 start, as the route from Blakey Ridge is narrow and long. Last year an inconsiderate late arrival speeding to the event forced one of the landowners off the road and could have lost us the land!
Sorry if anyone has been trying to contact me by phone, contractors cut through the main telephone cable to our village on 7th April, and it still hasn't been repaired yet. Jayne's number is still active and my e-mail is : This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
In the event of bad weather, please look on Trials Central or Scarborough & DMC or Guisborough & DMC websites & Facebook for any updates.
Hope to see you there –Jim Austermuhle
