Pegasus MC & LCC visited Stainby for the annual Arden Trophy Trial and was held over 5 laps of 8 sections in perfect conditions. Lincoln's Mike Evans, Gas Gas claimed the main award with an impressive performance dropping just 7 marks. However, this was just a single dab better that top Intermediate Luke Hough-Whelpton also Gas Gas mounted with Joe Collins completing the top 3.
4 marks seperated the top Adult and Youth competitors on the 50/50 route with Paul Wareing taking his TY mono Yamaha around for 14 marks ahead of Ben Butler on 18.
Andy Butt headed the popular middle route with a total of 11, Andy was top Over 40 rider and was just 4 marks better than Mark Awcock, Beta, riding in the Clubman class. Next best was another Over 40, Steve Marwood.
Fresh from completing the Scottish Pre 65 trial Kev Witting topped the white route aboard his Drayton Bantam. Kev's total of 9 was just 2 marks better than Keith Smith who was riding in the Fun class. Top Adult beginner was former Pegasus Road Race champion Jules Croft who is finding the pace somewhat steadier on his Gas Gas. Special mention to young Jacob Potts who rode well against the adult beginners on his 80 Beta.
