Attached are the provisional results of the Fandale -East-side 2-lap Charity Trial for the Jack Howden Trophy Trial held in Farndale, North Yorkshire on Sunday 29th May.
Thanks to all those observers (some of which had already observed the night before) helpers and riders who supported this event on such a busy sporting bank holiday weekend when there were so many choices.
The Myers family (Rosedale venue landowners) would like to thank those kind riders who encouraged/helped their son Mark Myers complete his first Farndale 2-lapper on his Beta 80, a fantastic achievement!
Rob Brown would like to pass on his praise and thanks for the quick action and tremendous teamwork of CoC Roy Jarvis, Simon Coulson, landowners Dave Mead and Mike Sunley plus riders, Alan Carr & Ian Austermuhle for launching a recovery operation to get him off the moor after damaging his knee at section 5. He remarked on the fantastic community spirit and asked for his gratitude to be passed on to all concerned. Landowner Dave Mead remarked that it is the first time that he had got his quad bike so far up the moor! Rob is recovering at home with a pulled knee ligament.
