Peterborough Trials Club

The fourth trial of the Peterborough trials club season took place today where 46 riders tackled a sunny Stibbington quarry. The ground conditions were not affected at all by all the midweek rain, in fact they were close to perfect with no dust being generated.

The only youth rider today on the hard route was A class rider Tom Spencer who dropped 21 Marks on his Beta.

The 50/50 route was won by Martyn Rushbrook who dropped 12 marks on his gas gas with the runner up on the route going to Martin Bone who rode well on his Twinshock Yamaha.

On the middle route over 40 class rider Jim York riding a Mono shock Yamaha took the win on 8 marks dropped from fellow Over 40 rider Pete Rushbrook next up on 10 marks dropped. Tom Shaw was best novice dropping 12 marks. The best twinshock rider for the second trial running was Bruce Alderman on 17 marks dropped. It was another close battle in the C class category with Alfie Ray Turner beating Alfred Alderman by just 5 marks.
