A very warm afternoon at Halton Gill saw just 48 riders taking part in our Stan Pitts Trophy Trial. Leaving the pub duties behind, Martin Crosswaite came out for a ride and was best performance on the main championship route.
Riding in the Clubman A class, Jamie Stephenson had a good ride and finished at the top on this route. Whilst in the Clubman B Class, Rob Hardisty does it again! Going round first, finishing first and taking first place in this class.
The warm sunshine was very pleasant for the observing duties, but the heat was held responsible for some exhausted riders by the third lap.
Nice to see some youth C class riders battling round in the shape of Harry Hemingway and Henry Stephenson.
