Pegasus MC & LCC visited the old quarry at Castle Bytham for the Coltman Cup Trial which was held over 5 laps of 9 sections in near perfect conditions. At the end of the day it was Team Alford who made a clean sweep of the main classes. Chris kept his feet firmly planted on the footrests to return a perfect resultcard pipping Tom Ablewhite by a single mark with Sam Gent rounding out the top 3 places with just 3 dabs. Also on the hard route it was the youngest of the Alfords, Louise, who was best of the Intermediate grade riders, with a creditable score of 8 marks lost.
On the middle route Pete Ablewhite claimed maximum championship points in the Over 40 class with a total of 5 marks lost. Next came top Novice rider Catherine Alford who put in a good ride for a total of 10.
On the white route it was Kev Witting on his Drayton Batam that topped the results with a total of 14. Best Youth Beginner was Samuel Arden who rode well to drop just 17 marks which was the same as top Fun Class rider Robert Wright. Stephanie Tombling topped the Adult Beginners.
