The eighth trial in the ACU Wessex Plant Hire British sidecar championship will take place entirely in Cockhill Mines, Greenhow, on September 25th. Although Mel Harrison has options on other sections within five miles of the Nidderdale venue the decision has been made to plot eighteen sections in the disused mine which offer streams, climbs and rocky earthy sections. Four sidecar classes are included plus non-championship adult and youth solos. Two laps, each about three miles are planned. Starting time is 10-30 am sidecars and from 1000 am solos.
The current vital aspect is attracting eighteen observers. The closing date (flexible for solos) for entries is September 21.
