Entries are still available for the Red Rose Classic Trial next month – but time is running out! Hosted by Colne-based Red Rose Classic MCC on Sunday, October 9, it is the final round of the Northern British Bike Championship and promises to be a cracker, but entries close on Saturday October 1.
Trials secretary Pete Kenyon said: “We have the traditional Lancashire moorland hill and beck sections with around 15 miles of public road and track around Nelson and Trawden. “There are several new sections and some popular, tried-and-tested ones as well, so hopefully it should appeal to all riders. “We have also secured the use of Coldwell Activity Centre once again, which proved to be an excellent start venue last year.”
The first rider starts at 10.30am, and there are eight classes, including Tele and Girder Fork Rigid, Vintage Two-Stroke, Clubmen, Pre-Unit Expert and Specials. The entry form is available below and once completed, should be sent along with the £20 entry fee to Pete Kenyon, 48 Holmefield Gardens, Barrowford, Nelson, BB9 8NW. A SAE should be included if you want the results posting. Cheques should be made payable to Red Rose Classic Motorcycle Club.
