JST GGUK No.1 rider Michael Brown has won the Lakes 2 Day Trial after a superb day yesterday to snatch the win from Iwan Roberts. Michael was in third place overall Saturday night after Day 1 but rode superbly on Sunday adding only one more mark to his Saturday score. This win comes at the perfect time in the middle of Michaels ‘Scott Trial training’ which will give him a boost for this coming Saturdays ‘race day’.
JST GGUK Team mate Dan Thorpe also rode well just three marks off the podium for an eventual 6th overall.
Cloburn GG rider Chris Alford was a respectable 15th overall.
In the Clubman class GG riders filled the podium with old school stars Darren Wasley winning, Harold Crawford 2nd and Phil Houghton 3rd with only two marks separating all three riders!
JST GG girl Katy Sunter was back in action in 26th place. Katy will give 100% this coming weekend.
