124 riders headed to Breakheart Quarry near Dursley for The Bill Peters Trial.
It was close at the top with reigning center champion Simon Welch having a 2 mark advantage over Lee Hassal, with Kurt Brain another point behind. Section 10 posed most problems where after negotiating a fallen tree, treacherous roots caused the loss of many marks.
John Bees took the clubman/expert class from Dan Sanders who excelled on his air cooled 'Yam' and was disappointed to loose his only five on the notorious section 10.
Another classic 'Yam' took the clubman class in the very capable hands of Rob Faulkner who kept his feet up all day.
A conducted course for the D's and E's had a 'Bishop' one/two with Fred beating Henry by 7.
It was a long and busy day for our dedicated team of observers, so many thanks to them, along with all the other invaluable club helpers.
