Regs are now available for one of Scotland’s most popular trials, The Loch Lomond MCC Dan Stewart Memorial Two Day Trial which will be held on s~aturday 27th and Sunday 28th May. Based around Luss on the western shores of Loch Lomond, the Dan Stewart is one of Scotland's premier trials. Traditionally held over the late May Bank Holiday weekend since 1970 following the demise of the Lion Two Day, it has grown into one of the most challenging trials in the Scottish calendar with a list of winners that is a who’s who of British Trials over the last 40 years. With the SSDT at the start of May the Loch lomond Two Day ends a month of spectacular trials north of the border.
This year the Saturday route is a traditional single lap of around 50 miles of moorland and mountains and 40 observed sections. Sunday is two circuits of a 12 mile lap with 25 sections per lap. There are 2 fuel stops on Saturday. Both days are all off-road comprising farmland, open moorland and mountain tracks.
Closing dates for entries is Friday 19th of May or when the limit of 150 is reached. Entries will be taken on a “first come, first served” basis.
