Today saw the third round of the 2017 S3 Parts Trials Championship take place with the Powys Trophy Trial hosted by Mid Wales Centre ACU. On this occasion it was Splatshop's Chris Pearson who broke the domination of Luke Walker so far by taking the victory by a fourteen mark margin over Walker with James Fry completing the top three.
Thanks very much again to all of those that help make this a great event. We won't list all of them because it's a joint effort from all of the centre, but obviously Kev Bowden as the secretary puts in the hours running up to the event including helping with the marking out this time, and as usual Elwyn W illiams is up there weeks before it putting the majority of the flags and course markers out there. Also a big thank you to Rachel, Rob and the crew at the Cann Office who despite totally transforming the place in to what it is today, still invite our muddy crew to take over for the day!
Last, and by no means least, all of the people that turn up on the day to Marshal/Observe from inside and outside the centre, and allow us to run this event. Was a cold wet one today but still smiles all round.
