Stroud Valley veteran, Nigel Tomkins, took the top spot with a miserly one mark lost in an event where a casual dab cost places. The rapidly drying conditions at Moorhouse Farm meant plenty of grip so it was down to concentration to keep losses to a minimum. Anthony Knott led the sportsman plus class and Western Center stalwart Billie Andrews won the sportsmen class with a clean sheet. Fred Bishop led the field in the conducted class from Aaron Watson.
