Sunday 4th June sees the return of the Alan Trophy Trial run as always by Cumberland County MCC at Newbiggin, Cumbria. This year the event is once again a round of the ACU Normandale Masters Trials Championship.
This Championship caters for Veterans with classes for Over 40, Over 50 and Over 60, with the addition this year of an Air Cooled Monoshock class. There will be two laps of 20 sensible sections with two courses consisting mainly of rocky streams, woodland and rock outcrops and on a lap of about 9 miles of mainly open fell with superb views over the Eden Valley. For the Championship, over 40’s ride the Harder route 1 and over 50’s over 60’s and Air Cooled Monoshocks ride the easier route 2. The Trial is also open to Non Championship Riders of all Adult classes so they can enter and ride either route.
Don’t miss the chance to ride some of the best trials land around. There will be a catering van onsite.
