Chris Koch was the only championship rider to finish the Sphinx trial without losing a mark on Sunday 24th Sep. The long distance trial event organized by the Cheltenham HomeGuard MCC was round 3 of the ACU trail bike championship for 2017. The event is getting a little harder than the traditional trail bike trials from twenty years ago but then there are so many competetive little trail bikes around now and a lot of good older riders looking for a fun day out.
Martin Gilbert from Devon was runner up and local man Adam Colbourn was third.
