Here are the provisional results of Hull Auto Club's last trial of 2017, The Embro Cup Trial run at Scarborough Motor Club's excellent Low North Park venue yesterday. Ian Austermuhle took the premier from last year's winner Andy Chilton
Despite the variable forecasts throughout the week and the uncertainty on the day, we would like to thank all the riders and observers (some from far affield) for coming out in such cold weather to support the event. We did have some light snow during the day, and some sections did polish up to make them a bit more challenging than intended, requiring some steadier throttle input, but in spite of that we fortunately only had 5 retirements,
Whilst we were enjoying ourselves, our Club Chairman of many years Jayne Peace was in hospital in Leeds recovering from illness which occurred during her ongoing treatment last week. I'm sure that you will join me in wishing her and her family all the best for her continued treament being successful and leading to a complete recovery.
