Bolton MCC are pleased to announce that their successful Time and Observation Trial will return again in 2018 with 8th April being the date for your diaries. Held once again at the Club's fantastic venue near Clowbridge reservoir, Dunnockshaw "400 Acres" offers challenging moorland, streams and tracks over a 4 mile loop. This will be the 3rd edition of the event which has been well received by participants over the last two years.
Unlike other time and observation trials this event welcomes and caters not just for experts but novices as well. For those who are looking for an insight into what a time and observation trial is about, or simply would like a good ride out on the moors to train for the SSDT then this is the event for you!
This year the Club are adopting a 2 class system - "Main Class" will be 7 laps with "Support Class" doing 5 laps. Awards include the top 3 in each class plus best ride for a competitor over 40 in each class.
The event will be limited to 70 riders on a pre entry basis. Early entry means a later starting number which will be in the riders favour so get them entries in sooner rather than later.
