Jack Sheppard - Sherco has won the 2018 edition of the highly popular Lakes MTA Lakes Two Day Trial. Sheppard, who sat in third place at the end of the opening day, fought back to take the win by a five mark margin over 2017 winner, Iwan Roberts - TRS. Leader at the end of day one, Tom Minta - Scorpa didn't have the best start to the second day of competition and, despite his performance improving as the day progressed, it wasn't enough to claim back the lead and he had to settle for third place.
In the closely fought Clubman Class, it was James Graham - Montesa who pipped day one leader, John Lampkin - Beta by two marks to take the win with Roger Williams - Beta finishing third.
