Grantham Pegasus held their Autumn Cup trial in perfect conditions on the grassy slopes of Harston, Nr Grantham. The main award went the way of Matt Dixon, Beta, who dropped just 15 marks over the 5 laps of 8 sections. However, Matt was just a single dab better than runner up Tom Ablewhite on 16. Completing the top 3 was Billy Craig on 21 marks lost. Jamie Birtcliffe topped the 50/50 route with a total of 19.
On the middle route the best Novice on the day, Catherine Alford, put in a great performance dropping just 3 marks her Gas Gas. Next best was top Over 40 rider, Steve Marwood, who dropped 8 marks was just 4 better than Pete Ablewhite. Best Youth B/C rider Sam Hill also put on a good show dropping just 13.
The white route was extremely competitive with just 11 marks covering the top 14 riders on the route. Fun rider Tony Bilton was top of the result sheet on 7 marks which was 2 better than best Adult Beginner Matthew Guy. Mike Sanderson brought his Pre 65 triumph Tiger Cub home with a total of 10.
