An absolutely brilliant Sair Heed Trial on the 2nd January. The weather was perfect, we had a great turnout, plenty observers and the sections and scenery were enjoyed by all. Changes at Lochlane meant we had a new parking area, some fresh sections and an adjusted route which gave a bit of variety.
Thank you to the Landowner, Gordon Halley, for the use of his land, to the team, Rab, Robert, Stuart, Euan and Graeme, who set out the trial and to Catherine for signing on and results. Bonnie Mountain Coffee Landrover were a definite bonus keeping us supplied with great coffee, tea and hot chocolate! Everyone is always so glad to see them at our trials!
A very big thank you to all our observers who did a great job observing and keeping the trial moving. It’s so much better to have a fully observed trial! So thank you all.
The trial finished over soup and good chat, with a chance to scrutinise and discuss the days results. Lastly thanks to all 81 riders for coming and making the trial a great start to 2019.
See you all again for the Lochlane National on 17th February.
