51 Riders spread across 8 Categories including the New Twinshock Championship ran over the Clubman Route at Round 2 of the Bolton MCC Novex Series held at Catlow Fold on 14th April. 10 sections awaited the riders on a cold, sunny Sunday where they were greeted with a varied terrain.
Section 1 to 6 used the stream and banks up the gully then a short hop and a bop up and across the field and another stream and bank utilised for section 7,8 then a up and over the hill to use the far gully upstream from the first sections where 9 and 10 was found again in and out of the stream with the banks coming into play.
Some low marks were had but special mention to Adam McCanna in the Twinshock Championship, the only rider to go clean all day.
Thanks to all observers who braved the cold but sunny conditions and the Riders themselves who hopefully had a great day out. See you at the next one 19th May. Check website for venue.
