Attached are the provisional results of our Velocette Trophy Trial held at Hollins Farm, Rosedale on 24th July.
With this date on the same weekend as the Reeth 3-day, entries are always smaller for this event, but we would like to thank all of those who supported the event, some travelling for many hours from other counties.
Although the observers remarked that they had good sections “taking a few marks,” they rode harder than intended with heat compounding the situation as fatigue set in, and high scores resulted on several sections. Fortunately, the heavy rain only occurred when riders had left, and flag collection completed!
