Attached are the provisional results of our 2-lap Jack Howden Trophy Trial held at Hill Houses, Farndale on 4th June.
Unfortunately for the observers, the forecast hot, bright, sunny weather did not materialise until after the trial was over and some found it quite chilly on the exposed hillsides or in the shade, and we thank them for staying at their posts!
However. that overcast sky was ideal for the riders and may have limited some possible retirements due to exhaustion!
We would like to thank all the landowners, observers, riders (many from out of centre and even from across the other side of the country) and officials who supported the trial especially as there were so many other good events going on throughout the north.
Adam Milner rode well to win the Jack Howden Trophy on a tough hard course, unfortunately his opposition, talented riders Daniel Knaggs and Max Chadwick were unable to test him as they suffered mechanical issues and had to retire.
