2013 X-Trial Championship Round 3

gas gas subheadlineAdam Raga finished in fourth place in the Indoor Trial of Malaga, the third round of the World Championship of X-Trial, which was held at the Martin Carpena Pavilion of this Andalusian city.

Ultimately, the Trial and it's result came down to four zones that were so complicated only the winner of the competition, Toni Bou, could overcome them. Adam Raga searched for a good result, but he made a small mistake when he entered a zone with his Gas Gas TXT 300 R and was overtaken by his rivals.

This result has been a small setback in the aspirations of the Gas Gas Factory Team rider, scoring points seeking to improve upon his fourth place in the championship. In Barcelona he managed to reverse his poor finish at the opening round, held in Sheffield and has come back with a vengeance. He had been looking forward to winning this third round where ultimately he was unable to come up with a satisfactory result. Raga, who is fourth overall, hopes to return to form at the next and penultimate round of the 2013 X-Trial championship which will take place in Bielefeld (Germany), in two weeks.

Podium at the premiere of the National Indoor

This competition, in addition to being the third X-Trial World Cup, was also the first round in the 2013 Spanish Indoor Trial Championship. No competition was added, but foreign riders are extracted from the results to form the final classification of the National Indoor Trial. Thus, the Gas Gas rider has won third place in the premiere of this national competition.

Adam Raga: “ It was not a good night for me. We had to compete in a very rare situation, because almost all but Bou had fiascos in the semifinal and final zones, and only tied with race points. I knew it would be difficult to get a good result and have ventured into a zone to try to recover, but I failed. Now there are two more events in the championship, the next in Germany, and if I want to improve overall positions I have to get a good result. I'll try to squeeze more, by riding better. ”.
