A good result was achieved by Gas Gas rider Adam Raga in Germany in the fourth round of the FIM World X-Trial, who saw himself rise again onto the podium in second place. Adam had a superb ride, being much more comfortable in the zones in this round. This was immediately noticeable in the preliminary qualifications, which Raga completed without penalty. In the semifinal, bad luck hit the rider from Ulldecona, when tree bark broke away, which has caused a five point penalty. Even with this, he has finished as the second best rider. In the final, where they are dragged-down by the semifinal points, Adam stayed in the race with Bou leaving very little left to overcome the giant step of the second zone, but managed to stay in second place in a tough battle with Jeroni Fajardo who finally finished in third.
This excellent result puts the Gas Gas rider in second place in the provisional World X-Trial Championship. With one last test to end the championship, Adam is optimistic thinking about the possibility of reaching the second place in the World in Nice (France), on April 12th.
Adam Raga: "I'm happy with how this race went. I felt good, I had a good qualify round and it was a shame that the bark has broken in the semifinal, because I rode well. I think I've only had a couple of glitches throughout the night. But as I said, I'm happy because I made a step forward from Malaga in this trial, so different than that. Here was targeted zones where you could fail, taking points and then places where you could restore them. I thought about the tree, stay off the end! Now there is only one race and I'm second, it is important, I would like to achieve a result like years ago and that I can end the indoor season with a good final classification."
