Team JST GGUK Riders Micheal Brown and Alexz Wigg have just finished the penultimate round of the WTC in Italy.
Both riders gave 100% and both deserve better than the results suggest. Michael was 9th and Alexz 14th.
Michael rode with big confidence yesterday after bouncing back to form in Andorra two weeks ago. A few too many mistakes saw him lose 7th place by only 6 marks. He was very lucky on the last lap to walk away from a horrendous crash on section 11. It certainly shook him up as he was sick 4 times on the way back to the airport, or that was maybe my driving!
Michael is in a fight for 7th,8th and 9th in the championship with Jack Challoner and Danny Oliveras. He is now 9th only 2 points behind Danny and 5 points behind Jack with two days of WTC competition left at Penrith at the end of the month where we NEED your support. You can be assured Michael and the Team will be 100% ready.
Alexz Wigg just never gives up. Alexz and Harold worked hard at this very difficult event and deserved a better reward than only 2 championship points. He is currently 12th and can go one better and finish 11th in the Championship so all to fight for at WTC UK.
Alexz was less than fortunate than Michael in the fact that he further damaged his dodgy ankle which will need 100% rest for the BTC this coming weekend.
